Dear ICHEC users,
ICHEC, with the support of the Royal Irish Academy, is delighted to invite you to a one-day meeting on Friday 20 October 2006 in Academy House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2. The meeting entitled "Towards a coherent HPC ecosystem - a national debate" will be addressed by two leading figures from the European HPC community:
Professor Martyn Guest from the Daresbury laboratory in the UK and Dr Marie-Christine Sawley, CEO of the Swiss national supercomputer centre CSCS.

The meeting is intended as a contribution to the ongoing national debate about research infrastructures and ample time will be allowed for general discussion. To facilitate an open exchange of views we propose to hold the discussion part of the meeting under the Chatham house rule (see
