Hamilton

Along with Walton, this system formed part of the first generation of HPC machines deployed by ICHEC. As a shared memory system it was intended to satisfy specific requirements not met by a general purpose cluster. Hamilton was a Bull NovaScale 6320 that provided 32 Intel Itanium2 CPUs and 256 GB of RAM as a single system image.
