ICHEC at IGARSS 2024

Earlier this week DJ and Emil from ICHEC presented on the latest advancements in "Multiclass Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) Classification Using Quantum Enhanced Support Vector Machines (QSVM)" at IGARSS 2024 in Athens.

Their research explores encoding classical Earth Observation (EO) data into quantum states, training QSVMs at scale in high-performance computing (HPC) environments and comparing classical and quantum-enhanced SVM models.
