Rain fall resolution 2.4km The ICHEC forecasts of Storm Ophelia were obtained by downscaling the Global Forecast System (GFS) data using the WRF model. The large and small domains have 12km and 2.4km spatial resolution, respectively. The forecasts were run on the ICHEC supercomputer systems.
