Katie graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2020 with a first class honours degree in mathematics. Her final year project was titled ‘The Hall Algebra of Coherent Sheaves over P^1 and Counting Surjective Morphisms of Twisting Sheaves’. She is a Trinity scholar and was awarded a gold medal from Trinity for her undergraduate performance.
Katie completed a masters in High Performance Computing in TCD in 2021. Her M.Sc thesis topic was Parallel Delaunay Triangulation.
Katie joined ICHEC in January 2022 to work on the IO-SEA project.
Interests
She loves painting, gaming (a lot, really a lot!) and big fan of small animals and plays guitar and ukelele.
