Van Anh Nguyen
Van Anh Nguyen serves as the PMO Project Manager at the Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC), where she is responsible for the oversight of the centre’s project portfolio, ensuring it aligns with strategic objectives and adheres to the highest standards of project management. Her duties include the management and coordination of projects from inception through to completion, the development and refinement of project management processes, and the effective allocation of resources.
Before her tenure at ICHEC, Nguyen has 10-year experience as a Project Manager at RELIA Vietnam JSC, a Japanese firm specialising in Call Centre, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO), and consulting. There, she led a team of over 100, managed a significant annual budget, and utilised Agile methodologies to drive service delivery and operational improvements. Her approach to project management incorporates Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen principles for operational enhancement, detailed data analysis for strategic planning, and the establishment of risk management frameworks.
Nguyen's academic background includes an MBA in Information Systems and a BA in Japanese Language and Culture. Her professional certifications cover areas such as Risk Management, Agile Project Management, Data Analytics, and Business Analysis, equipping her with a wide-ranging skill set for strategic analysis and practical project management application.
